Job Description
* This is a flexible role available as a part-time or full-time
* Provide Physiotherapy services in centers, off site or in the client's homes.
* Navigate national schemes such as WorkCover, NDIS and Aged Care
Key Responsibilities:
As a Physiotherapist, you will:
* Provide high quality assessments and treatment and improving patient outcomes by implementing the best evidence-based practice.
* Assessment of mobility and function and prescription for provision of appropriate mobility and functional equipment
* Education on staff (Manual Handling) as well as educating on residents
* Development of individual, evidence-based treatment plans and goals to address any deficits identified in these areas ensuring best practice and person-centred care planning for clients and participants
· Responsible for liaising with residents, families, doctors and other allied health professionals.
Key Requirements:
To be successful in the role, you will need:
* Full AHPRA registration and professional liability/public indemnity insurance
* Be able to understand new systems and processes in an efficient manner.
* Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn and grow in both a clinical and non-clinical perspective.
* Strong communication skills.
* A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers
* Be able to provide clinical supervision to other staff if required and based on experience level.
