Position Title: Fleet and Government Sales Manager
Location: Pakenham, VIC 3810
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Remuneration: $105,000 to $125,000 + Super + Uncapped Commission

With our Factory operations based at Pakenham we are committed to innovation, safety, and operational excellence in everything we do.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced sales professional to join us as Fleet & Government Sales Manager — a newly created role reporting directly to our Chief Commercial Officer. This is a full-cycle sales role: you'll identify and win new business, manage government and utilities tender processes, and see every order through from initial enquiry to final delivery.

Our customers typically purchase five or more vehicles at a time — fleet management companies, state and federal government agencies, utilities, and large commercial operators. If you know this space, understand procurement, and thrive on building long-term relationships, we want to talk.

What You’ll Do

* Prospecting and developing new business opportunities across fleet, government, utilities, and commercial markets

* Leading tender responses, RFQs, and panel submissions for government and utilities customers

* Engaging with fleet managers, procurement officers, and key decision-makers to understand requirements and present tailored solutions

* Managing orders from confirmation through to delivery, keeping customers informed and commitments on track

* Representing MFI at industry events and trade shows where we hold an exhibition stand

* Maintaining pipeline visibility and reporting to the CCO

What We’re Looking For

* Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in fleet, automotive, commercial vehicles, or government supply

* Familiarity with government or utilities procurement — tender processes, RFQs, panel arrangements

* Full-cycle sales experience: prospecting through to delivery and relationship management

* Strong written and verbal communication — comfortable presenting to procurement teams and senior stakeholders

* Commercial acumen and the ability to build competitive proposals

* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate when required
