The role
Reporting into the leading hand on your crew you will enjoy working in a team of experienced OEM fitters that have a world of knowledge of the equipment. With a wide range of support to get you going and confident with your duties, you'll enjoy the following tasks;
* Preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, servicing, machinery upgrades, rebuilds, machine overhauls, major component change out
* Machinery - Mining, civil construction, quarrying and forestry equipment
The roster and hours
This role will be a 7:7 roster + lots of opportunity for overtime where you'll be able to work up to 10-12 hours per day!
Your value and experience
You will have come from a mechanical trade Certificate III and have previous experience working on heavy equipment in workshop environment. Previous experience working on earthmoving equipment is highly regarded, however not essential in your success in this role. You will need the following:
* An excellent attitude towards work with a strong work ethic and
* Passionate about your trade and producing quality results
* Be able to work in a team and autonomously
* Eager to learn and forward your skills and experience with an OEM
* Safety stands as a priority
