Pharmacy Technician
Permanent Part Time
Classification: TH6
Salary Range: $31.65 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging
About the role:
The Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacists with various tasks within the Pharmacy Department including:
* Front Office/Reception duties i.e. answering phone calls, responding to customer and staff enquiries at the front reception area, and handling any other front office/reception tasks as required.
* Pharmacy Technician duties in the dispensary i.e. assisting the Pharmacists with Dispensing of medications to inpatients, discharge patients and outpatients, medication summary lists. Additional tasks may also be assigned as needed.
* Pharmacy stock control duties including managing stock across various areas of WDHS, receiving of stock orders, replenishing of medication cupboards, checking of expiring medications and all other aspects of a Pharmacy Technician as required.
About you:
* Certificate 3 in Health

* Demonstrated understanding of the importance of teamwork in a health service environment.
