About Our School
We are located at Benalla, two hours north of Melbourne. Our school offers a P-10 curriculum and will cater for senior year levels by 2026. We are currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
1. Meet with students and families to implement Individualised Educational Plans (IEPs)
2. Demonstrate a commitment to catering for diverse learning needs
3. Provide one-on-one and small group intervention
4. Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
5. Plan and implement teaching programs or courses of study
6. Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development
7. Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
8. Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training
9. Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct
10. Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues
11. Educate students in their area of expertise
12. Attend and participate in staff meetings as required

Required Skills and Qualifications
* A recognised teaching qualification
* A Working With Children Check clearance
* Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
* Statements of service from previous child-connected roles
* References from previous child-connected roles
* Evidence of the right to work in Australia

About You
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator who shares our vision and values. As a Learning Support Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting students with diverse learning needs. You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and experience working with students in years 10-12. A commitment to improving student academic outcomes and high expectations for what students can achieve are essential qualities for this role.
