Contracts Admin
Design & Build is working with a well-established commercial and residential builder who is looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team based on the Gold Coast.
You will be working on large-scale multi-residential developments valued at up to $150M. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic company with a strong pipeline of future projects. They pride themselves on the quality of their work and are looking for someone passionate to join their close-knit team.
Responsibilities of the Contracts Administrator
* Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
* Work closely with the procurement team
* Engage with all internal project stakeholders
* Assist with progress claims and external variations
* Review, negotiate, and finalize subcontracts
* Manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims
* Administer RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator or Senior Contracts Administrator on commercial or multi-residential projects
* Experience working on projects valued at least $50M
* Willing to support and mentor junior CAs
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Experience managing subcontractors, including programming, supervision, and contracts administration
* Strong negotiation skills to manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring budgets, quality, safety, and schedule requirements are met
