Key Responsibilities
* Contracting and Legal Compliance
o - Assist with drafting employment contracts for cast, touring crew, and musicians.
o - Assist with casual crew contracting both for the pre-production and operating period of the production.
o - Maintain knowledge of relevant certified agreements and employment conditions.
o - Manage contract-related processes, including accuracy of legal and document trackers.
* Onboarding and Staffing Support
o - Assist with the employee onboarding process for creative and production personnel.
o - Assist the manager of production to ensure all regulations are met for the safe employment of children in productions.
o - Manage all operational aspects of auditions sourcing staff, venue bookings, and scheduling of audition days.
* Vendor Management
o - Vendor relationship management and payment processing.
o - Assist in the negotiation of contracts for vendors such as audition venues, accommodation providers, and rehearsal rooms.
* Travel Management
o - Manage travel arrangements for transfer crew, local production team, and international team members.
o - Manage all immigration requirements for production and creative staff.
* Production Scheduling
o - Assist with the scheduling and timeline requirements for productions.
o - As required, manage the updating of schedules and meeting scheduling.
* Marketing, PR, and CSR Support
o - Conduct market and budget research for future seasons and cities of the productions.
o - Assist on external events and functions.
o - Provide support on CSR, PR, and marketing-related activity.
* Budget and Financial Management
o - Manage the updating of EFC and report internally and to DTG in NY.
o - Provide coding and ensure accurate and timely raising of Purchase Orders, GR's, and invoices for payment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* - Knowledge of creative process in live theatre and proven ability to manage personnel.
* - Minimum of three years' experience in the theatre industry with at least two years at Production Executive level.
* - Excellent time management and organization skills.
* - Ability to prioritize and multitask in a hectic work environment.
* - Effective and discrete communicator, able to manage confidential information.
* - Pro-active, self-starter who is able to work without daily supervision.
* - Strong Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
