This is an opportunity to join one of Australia's most recognisable retail brands as they continue to evolve their supply chain and invest in cutting-edge automation. Their purpose-built National Distribution Centre (NDC) in Ravenhall is the engine room of their omni-channel network — replenishing stores nationwide and supporting a fast-growing online channel.
We're seeking a motivated Operations Manager to lead morning shift operations in this highly automated environment. Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day execution, inspire a large team, and ensure that performance, safety, and service standards are consistently exceeded.
What you'll do
* Lead and empower a multi-skilled team to deliver smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations
* Maximise performance from both people and automated systems to meet service and cost targets
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement — identifying opportunities to enhance workflow, productivity, and employee engagement
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and workforce planning to ensure resources align with demand
* Partner across the broader supply chain, including transport, IT, and store operations, to enable seamless fulfilment
* Maintain compliance across safety, building, and licensing requirements
* Champion site development initiatives and support change as the facility continues to evolve
What you'll bring
* Strong leadership background managing large operational teams in a DC or 3PL environment
* Hands-on experience in automated or high-volume fulfilment operations
* Proven ability to lead through change, influence outcomes, and build capability within teams
* Commercial acumen with experience in cost management, forecasting, and KPI-driven performance
* A collaborative style — comfortable partnering with stakeholders across logistics, transport, and retail
* Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (highly regarded)
