Your new role:
As Nurse Educator within Cancer Services, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and champion a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice. Reporting to the Assistant Nursing Director, you will lead education strategy, support workforce capability development, and oversee a team of Clinical Facilitators to strengthen contemporary cancer nursing practice.
You will operate with a high level of autonomy while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, person-centred care aligned with organisational priorities and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver advanced clinical education programs within Cancer Services
* Provide expert clinical consultancy and mentorship to nursing staff
* Drive evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and research initiatives
* Lead change management and service redesign activities
* Ensure compliance with National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards

About us:
The Division of Cancer Services at Princess Alexandra Hospital is a highly developed, multidisciplinary cancer service in one of Australia's largest teaching hospitals. The hospital provides a comprehensive adult cancer service encompassing haematological, surgical, and medical and radiation oncology specialties, including immunotherapy, cell therapy, and cancer vaccines and autologous stem cell transplantation. Cancer Services are the state referral centre for some rare malignancies and provides highly specialised care for cancer care, Upper Gastrointestinal, Germ Cell, Sarcoma, High Grade Lymphoma and Acute Leukaemia. This care is supported by the Stem Cell Program.
