The Infant, Child and Youth Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Service is a community-based service that provides comprehensive assessment, treatment and case management to infants, children, adolescents and young people up to the age of 25 years of age presenting with behavioural, emotional, psychiatric or developmental difficulties.
Job Description
* Contribute to the development assessment and provide case management and therapeutic support from a family inclusive approach in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in consultation with occupational therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists.
* Provide direct therapy sessions, group work and parent education as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
* Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
* Clinical paediatric experience working with parents and young children presenting with social, emotional, learning and behavioural problems.
Benefits
This role sits within the Developmental Assessment and Management Program (DAMP), which is part of the Neurodevelopmental Stream. The position requires working Monday and Tuesday, with the third day negotiable.
