Your new role
As an APS6 Project Manager, you will lead and deliver a range of priority projects designed to improve processes, strengthen service delivery and support regulatory outcomes. Projects may include implementing new assessment or screening processes, reviewing existing workflows, and developing updated guidance materials.
In this role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive project progress, manage risks, and ensure deliverables are met within required timeframes. You'll apply strong judgement, analytical skills and the ability to quickly build subject‑matter knowledge to identify issues, develop solutions, and provide clear, well‑informed advice.
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated experience managing complex projects to deadline.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* High‑level communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to analyse and interpret information using digital and IT tools.
* Proven problem‑solving capability, with the ability to assess options and deliver practical recommendations.
* Experience working in a regulatory, compliance, government or process‑driven environment is desirable.
You must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (Baseline, NV1 or NV2) personnel security clearance.
