Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist manager at Vitality Pharmacy Warehouse Cooktown, QLD. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert advice on prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, and monitoring patients to ensure the safe and effective use of medications. We have a large rural and remote are of the business servicing many locations around the cape of Far North Queensland. Additional tasks include managing inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations, supervising support staff, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the health and well-being of the community served.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, prescription medications, and pharmaceutical practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as customer service and patient consultation expertise
Proficiency in inventory management and pharmacy software systems
Attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Registered pharmacist with a current and valid AHPRA registration
Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy or a related field
Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or community pharmacy setting is an advantage
