About this role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the kitchen team in bulk preparation and cooking for various meals and functions at the village during their swing.
This position requires travel to Coppabella, Dysart, Moranbah or Middlemount, with permanent positions available in each village. We offer a free bus service to and from Mackay if preferred.
The successful candidate will work 10.5-hour days, taking pride in providing excellent service to our guests. Our villages range from 150 to 3000 people, and your passion and experience in bulk cooking will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the kitchen team in bulk preparation and cooking for various meals and functions
* Travel to Coppabella, Dysart, Moranbah or Middlemount as required
* Work 10.5-hour days, providing excellent service to our guests
Requirements:
* A minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or validated equivalent)
* Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens
* Competence in bulk/batch cooking across all service offerings
