QUEENSLAND OZTAG is seeking a motivated in-house Digital Content Assistant (Editing) to support the delivery of digital content across our competitions, events, and community.
This role is focused on post-production and highlight editing, assisting the media team by clipping and assembling short-form content for social media platforms.
You'll work closely with the Digital Content Lead and the wider media team during major state events and busy competition periods, helping ensure content is delivered quickly and consistently.

The Opportunity
As our Digital Content Assistant (Editing), you'll support the post-production workflow, contributing to the editing, storytelling, and delivery of short-form content across QUEENSLAND OZTAG's platforms.
Here's a closer look at your key responsibilities:
* Editing and Post-Production: Clip and assemble short-form highlights from existing footage for social media. Edit reels and highlight packages using provided templates and guidelines. Editing and colour grading in Final Cut Pro X (experience with Motion and Adobe tools a bonus). Apply basic audio balancing and formatting for delivery.
* Storytelling: Support storytelling and creative direction during post-production to ensure highlights are engaging and clear.
* Content Support: Export and organise final files for publishing. Assist with managing footage, libraries, and project files.
* Team Support: Take creative direction and feedback from senior media staff and meet turnaround times during busy event periods.
What do you need to succeed?
We're looking for someone who enjoys editing, follows direction well, and is keen to develop their skills in a fast-paced sports environment.
* Working proficiency in Final Cut Pro X.
* Understanding of short-form social video formats.
* Interest in storytelling through editing.
* Ability to work to deadlines and follow creative direction.
* Strong organisational and file management skills.
* Passion for sport and digital media.
While formal qualifications are appreciated, we value reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn even more.
