Position Details
* Covering Residential Care Homes located in Morwell and Traralgon areas
* Base salary $92K (pro rata) + salary packaging + super + penalty rates
* 2 day face‐to‐face Orientation Training mandatory (Dates TBC)
Key Responsibilities
* Provide supervision, support, coaching and mentoring to a team of Night Residential Care Workers across the region to ensure high quality, therapeutically focussed care.
* Attend to and respond to queries, incidents and concerns from staff promptly.
* Ensure overnight safety plans for young people in out‐of‐home care are met and be on‐site from the houses.
* Serve as a key contact for regional incidents in the broader Out of Home Care space.
* Assist with house rosters and oversee the nightly operations of the Residential Care homes.
* Provide leadership and supervision to Residential Care Workers.
* Comply with reporting requirements for program components.
* Administer and hold accountable annual budgets and program planning.
* Embed a therapeutic framework by overseeing best practice implementation of Children and Young People's individual case management plans and fostering an outcomes‐focused team.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or an equivalent qualification (Youth Work, Community Services or Alcohol & Other Drugs).
* Previous industry experience.
* Applicants must complete the Trauma Informed Practice and Upskilling modules as required by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (employment contingent on satisfactory evidence within 3 months).
* Experience leading a team is advantageous.
* Demonstrated understanding of the Child Protection system and the needs of children and young people entering the Out of Home Care system.

70 hours a fortnight.
Week 1:
* Monday: Off
* Tuesday: Off
* Wednesday: 8pm‐6am (10 hours)
* Thursday: 8pm‐6am (10 hours)
* Friday: 8pm‐6am (10 hours)
* Saturday: 8pm‐6am (10 hours)
* Sunday: 8pm‐6am (10 hours)

* Monday: Off

* Thursday: 8pm‐6am (10 hours)
