In this role, you'll :
Work as part of a team delivering a facility experience that is sustainable, compliant, safe, fit for purpose, encourages utilisation, and meets community standards.
Take ownership of all facility management related work across all owned and leased sites, including liaison with suppliers and landlords to deliver outstanding facility compliance, quality, safety and workplace experience.
Be responsible for coordinating the delivery of programmed preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs.
Carry out activities such as performing property inspections, service delivery performance, writing scopes of work, managing safety issues, project and asset management.
You will manage any repairs and maintenance work by working with providers to ensure quality of work is guaranteed.
This is a permanent role based in either Newcastle, Port Macquarie or Grafton.
About you
A facilities management skilled with experience in delivering services across large and complex Commercial and/or Industrial property portfolios. You will have sound technical expertise in either facilities management, building services (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or civil), building operations.
Have sound knowledge of statutory compliance and facility safety standards such as Building Code of Australia, Work Health and Safety Act and fire safety.
Hold a Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Building Operations, Facilities Management and/or related building services trades, and/or significant technical experience across a range of hard services (Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Civil).
Have exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact with both internal stakeholders and service providers, to provide exceptional customer service. You will also demonstrate the ability to influence and take ownership of your work.
