About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Support Workers with a strong background supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role involves providing tailored support in the home and community, with a focus on skill-building, routine support, and meaningful engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver person-centred supports aligned with participant goals
* Support daily living activities (ADLs) and routines
* Facilitate community access and social participation
* Implement structured supports and behavioural strategies
* Maintain clear, accurate documentation and progress notes
* Collaborate with families, therapists, and coordinators
* Work with the Behavioural plans of participants to reach their goals
About You
You are patient, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about supporting people with Autism. You understand sensory needs, structured supports, and communication differences, and can build strong, respectful relationships with participants and families.
Essential Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience supporting people with Autism
* Understanding of behaviour support principles
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Availability for weekday and/or weekend shifts
Highly Regarded
* Experience supporting children or young adults with ASD
* Training in PBS (Positive Behaviour Support)
* Experience with high-intensity or complex supports
