Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Order Fulfilment & Inventory Controller to join our growing team.
This hybrid role combines hands-on order processing and warehouse coordination with responsibility for stock accuracy, inventory control, and compliance oversight. You will work closely with pharmacists, warehouse staff, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order execution and optimal stock management within a highly regulated environment.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys both operational execution and analytical stock control, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Full training will be provided; experience within pharmaceuticals or regulated industries will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and validate incoming customer orders in accordance with regulatory requirements
* Manage the full order lifecycle from receipt through to dispatch
* Coordinate picking, packing, and shipment with warehouse and logistics teams
* Track deliveries and maintain accurate order status records
* Resolve order discrepancies and delivery issues promptly
Inventory & Stock Control
* Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system integrity
* Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with procurement
* Track product batch numbers and expiry dates, ensuring FIFO principles are applied
* Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies
* Assist in forecasting and identifying potential stock risks
Compliance & Documentation
* Ensure adherence to Australian medicinal cannabis regulations and internal SOPs
* Maintain accurate documentation for product tracking and audit purposes
* Support GMP-aligned processes and quality control standards
* Assist with internal and external audit preparation
* Identify opportunities to improve order accuracy and stock management processes
* Contribute to operational efficiencies within the warehouse and distribution function
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in order fulfilment, warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain
* Must hold Australian work rights for this position
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory/order management systems
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
Highly Regarded
* Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated environments
* Understanding of Australian medicinal cannabis regulations
* Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
* Experience with stock reconciliation and inventory reporting
Working Conditions
* Full-time position, Monday to Friday
