As a company of the successful Global Urus Group, Trans Ova Australia is seeking a full-time Commercial Operations Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across Trans Ova Australia regional laboratories, client service centres and associated operational teams to create Better Cows for a Better World.
This role requires travel and is to ensure alignment with company goals for growth, production efficiency and customer satisfaction, while fostering strong collaboration between operations, sales and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive business growth and client expansion in regional markets
* Monitor production metrics
* Lead workforce planning, hiring, training and team development across regional sites
* Manage budgets, capital projects and resource allocation
* Business representation
* Reporting to senior management
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Key Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s with emphasis on Animal Science, Agribusiness, Operations Management or related field preferred
* Experience in bovine genetics, dairy, or beef production is highly desirable
* Prior supervisory/management skills
* Excellent computer skills
* Australian car drivers license
* A strong attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Ability to work as part of a team
