About the Role
* As Manager Childcare Services (Centre Manager), you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our centre. Your leadership will ensure that every child feels inspired, valued, and supported in a safe and enriching environment.
* Create a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional growth across the educator team.
* Mentor and coach the future second-in-charge (2IC) as part of our succession strategy.
* Oversee day-to-day operations including budgeting, enrolment management, staffing, and compliance.
* Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
* Develop strategies to boost occupancy and strengthen the centre's reputation in the local community.
* Build meaningful connections with families, staff, and the broader community.
* Create an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and nurtures every child's unique potential.
* Lead community engagement through events and initiatives that reflect the centre's values.
About You
You are a confident and caring leader, with the professional experience and personal qualities to lead in a remote or regional environment. You are solutions-focused, resilient, and ready to make a lasting difference.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent); a Bachelor's degree is highly regarded.
* Minimum two years' experience in a Centre Manager/Director role, preferably in regional or remote settings.
* A strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
* Demonstrated success in supporting or rebuilding teams through change or adversity.
* Outstanding communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and First Aid Certificate.
* Willingness to undergo psychometric testing prior to appointment.
Contract Terms
* Initial Term: 2 years
* Extension: Opportunity for a further 2 years, subject to mutual agreement
* Location: Normanton, Queensland
