Reporting to the Manufacturing Superintendent, you will provide administrative support at our manufacturing plant in Bajool, Queensland, on the Explosives Reserve.
This autonomous role involves a variety of responsibilities, from data entry to conducting site inspections. If you possess excellent organisational skills, enjoy diverse tasks, and have a can-do attitude, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
1. Reception duties and general office activities
2. Conducting site inductions and maintaining relevant records
3. Inventory management and purchasing PPE and stationery supplies
4. Preparing and formatting documents across various programs
5. Data entry and record management
6. Managing Arrowtail and weekly production close
7. Purchase order management and invoice approval
8. Planning and conducting site inspections
9. Completing Vendor and Banking Master Data forms
10. Assisting with month-end processes, including stock counts and reports
To Be Successful, You Will Possess
1. A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a similar role
2. Tertiary qualification in Business Administration (desirable)
3. Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
4. Experience with ERP, procurement, or accounting systems (desirable)
5. Excellent time management and attention to detail
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
7. Ability to obtain and retain a Queensland Explosives Security Clearance
8. A valid driver’s license and access to transport
