The Role:
To help lead their high-performing structural team. Based in Brisbane, this role will focus on delivering key building projects across the health, education, and residential sectors.
This is a client-facing leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape the direction of project delivery, mentor engineers, and contribute to business development. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee structural design for complex building projects
* Manage client relationships and represent the business in meetings and tenders
* Guide projects from concept through to delivery with a focus on quality and compliance
* Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering professional development
* Contribute to resource planning, team leadership, and project strategy
* Assist in winning work through proposal development and networking
* Ensure adherence to Australian codes, technical standards, and safety practices
About You
* Degree-qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering
* Minimum 10 years' experience in buildings (health, education, residential preferred)
* Chartered (CPEng) and RPEQ (or working towards)
* Proven experience leading project teams and delivering multi-stage building projects
* Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Confident in structural design software and up to date with Australian standards
* A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring and supporting a high-performance team
