Description Create your best future and join Westpac as a Senior Manager- Governance, Quality Assurance and Controls What’s the role? This full-time role, based in our Sydney office three days per week, sits within the newly formed Governance, Quality Assurance and Controls team in Group Reporting & Analytics. You’ll play a key role in designing and embedding frameworks that support accurate, timely, and well-controlled regulatory reporting. It’s a hands-on opportunity to shape processes, drive transformation, and work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Treasury to uplift reporting standards and controls. In this role, you’ll develop and embed an enhanced operating model for regulatory reporting, while creating and maintaining policies and standards that ensure accuracy and consistency. You’ll also support the teams preparing external reports including those required by APRA by performing targeted quality assurance deep dives and lead initiatives to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement across the reporting lifecycle. What do I need? We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to make an impact. You’ll need: Strong technical knowledge of regulatory reporting, finance principles, and data quality assurance. Experience applying governance and control frameworks in complex environments. Confidence working with senior stakeholders and navigating competing priorities. A passion for continuous improvement and simplifying processes.
