The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with an industrial or electrical background to lead the delivery of a major abattoir and cattle processing facility project. The initial focus will be managing the project delivery; overseeing critical components such as processing infrastructure, automation systems, and specialist equipment installations. The project involves a fast-paced build environment with multiple stakeholders, tight schedules, and significant coordination across engineering, construction, and operational teams.
Following the completion of this project, the role will transition into managing a broader range of industrial and electrical engineering projects ranging anywhere from $500k to $10m in value. These projects span SCADA and automation systems, control systems, manufacturing facilities, and industrial processing plants, often requiring the coordination of several projects concurrently.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of complex industrial projects
* Oversee multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of delivery
* Coordinate construction, electrical, automation, and control systems teams
* Manage project schedules, budgets, risk, and client relationships
* Lead shutdown planning and execution for major plant upgrades
* Work closely with engineering teams on SCADA, automation, and control systems integration
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
* Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities
* Maintain clear communication with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and clients
What You Bring to CE Group

You may come from an electrical, automation, controls, or industrial engineering background, with experience delivering projects in heavy industrial settings.
Ideal Experience Includes
* Project management experience in industrial, manufacturing or processing environments
* Exposure to SCADA, automation, or control systems projects
* Experience managing construction or installation projects in operating facilities
* Strong shutdown planning and execution experience
* Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
* Strong commercial, scheduling, and risk management skills
* Background in food & beverage, abattoirs, industrial processing, or manufacturing is highly regarded
Engineering qualifications are beneficial but not essential if you have strong industrial project delivery experience.
