Key Responsibilities:
* Assist senior surveyors with inspections and compliance assessments.
* Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress under supervision.
* Review building plans and documentation for compliance with NCC and regulations.
* Assist with drafting reports, permits and certificates under guidance.
* Maintain accurate records and files of inspections and correspondence.
* Learn and apply building legislation, codes, and standards.
* Communicate with builders, architects, engineers and clients as required.
* Support the surveyor team with administrative tasks.
About You:
* Currently studying or intending to study a Building Surveying qualification (Diploma or Degree level).
* Strong interest in the building and construction industry.
* Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to learn and develop professionally under the guidance of experienced surveyors.
* Good attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
* A current Tasmanian driver's licence (or the ability to obtain one).
