* As a key member of the delivery team, you will help create intuitive digital products by translating requirements into wireframes and responsive design components.
About The Role:
* This role is central to the successful planning and delivery of enhancements aligned to the broader strategy and directly contributes to supporting the continued development and deployment of the platform within the Disaster Response Centre (DRC).
* Leverage technology to monitor severe weather, communicate with impacted communities, and enable improved response using artificial intelligence and data insights.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions.
* Design wireframes and user flows using industry-standard tools.
* Build and style reusable UI components using React and associated libraries.
* Ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
* Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate and improve product experience.
Key Capabilities:
* Expertise in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision for wireframing and visual design.
* Understanding of component-based frameworks like React; ability to collaborate effectively with developers and speak their language.
* Designing for multiple screen sizes and devices with fluid layouts and scalable components.
* Defining animations and micro-interactions to enhance user experience.
