About the Role
Looking for a reliable and motivated Production Assistant to join the team! This is a vital role within the production team, contributing significantly to the efficiency and safety standards of our manufacturing operations.
The role is hands-on and varied, supporting the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing process across multiple areas.
Key Responsibilities
* General hand duties, including housekeeping and maintaining clean work areas
* Operation and support of the continuous blending line
* Forklift operation, loading and unloading inbound and outbound vehicles
* Pick and pack orders as required
* Assist across production areas including bagging, baling, and bulk material handling
* Manual packaging of products, including fertiliser preparation
* Ensure all production paperwork and checklists are completed accurately
* Maintain equipment and report maintenance requirements
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
* Keep dispatch and truck loading areas clean and organised
Daily Tasks Include
* Following plant and equipment operating procedures
* Ensuring workstation cleanliness at the end of each shift
* Assisting with bulk handling of raw materials and finished goods in line with KPI's
* Operating machinery such as blending lines and de-bale equipment as required
* Supporting bagging and baling lines
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
* Experience across varied roles within manufacturing facilities
* A willingness and ability to learn different aspects of production
* A strong team-oriented mindset
* A current forklift licence (essential)
* Basic computer literacy
* A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency

* Competitive hourly rate of $31.50 (38-hour week)
* Working Mon-Thu: 5am to 1.30pm, Friday: 5am to 11am
