Job Title: Experienced Inquiry Specialist

Overview of the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Inquiry Facilitation team as a Senior Facilitator. This key analyst and advisor role involves providing oversight and mentoring for our Researcher/Analysts and leading advice on the design and running of inquiries.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, be highly collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with multiple workstreams. They will be able to quickly build and maintain strong working relationships with members of the judiciary (presiding officers), Tribunal members, and colleagues across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert analysis and advice on inquiry design and management
* Mentor and supervise Researcher/Analysts to ensure high-quality work
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
* Contribute to the development of procedural guidance and policies
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in public policy, Māori studies, law, New Zealand history, or another relevant discipline
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service
* Ability to plan and prioritize workload effectively, and coordinate tasks of inquiry teams
* Knowledge of te reo Māori, tikanga, and mātauranga Māori is beneficial
* Proven experience working in the public sector or related organizations is advantageous

The appointing salary for this role will be between $98,208 and $135,539 based on skills and experience.
