About this role
We are seeking a Service Manager to lead our team in the Townsville Employment Service Area. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, inclusive employment services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading improvements to the customer and employer experience, ensuring quality, person-centred service delivery.
* Driving team performance to exceed both quality and performance targets.
* Managing service area financial performance, meeting revenue and margin targets.
* Building a high-performing workforce through coaching and leadership.
* Working closely with the Performance Manager to use local data and insights to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
* Strengthening partnerships with local agencies, referral sources, and community stakeholders.
* Ensuring ongoing development of your team to build a deeper understanding of best practice when working with people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
* Ensuring compliance and exceeding internal and external performance benchmarks.
About You
We are looking for a confident and strategic leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred services. You should have strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets while keeping people at the heart of what you do.
You should also have:
* Proven experience in Employment Services.
* Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build and lead a high-performing, cohesive team.
* Background in recruitment and talent management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
* Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets and KPIs.
