As our Generalist Counsellor, you'll provide responsive, outcome-focused mental health support to students through both face-to-face and online consultations. You'll play a key role in helping students navigate personal, emotional, and educational challenges, while also offering expert guidance to staff on student-related matters.
Selected Duties:
* Deliver engaging webinars and workshops on topics like stress, anxiety, mindfulness, and time management.
* Lead Child Safe initiatives and act as a key contact officer for child safety compliance.
* Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals across career counselling, disability support, Koori support, wellbeing, and accommodation services.
About you
Skills & Experience

* A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Eligibility for membership with professional bodies such as AASW, APS, or ACWA.
* Proven experience in short-term counselling and crisis response.
* Strong communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
* A deep understanding of Child Safe Standards, Mandatory Reporting, and Duty of Care.
