This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Position Profile: The Health Technology Management Unit (HTMU) is seeking a Senior Information Systems Development Officer to develop and manage applications for use by HTMU staff working across East and South Metropolitan Health Services.
This position reports directly to the Manager, General Information Technology Services and will work with 2 other staff in the same section.
The post is responsible for the development, operation and performance of the Department's web-based data collection, information distribution, analysis and reporting systems. The role includes supporting legacy applications with the long‑term objective of migrating them to modern technologies.
Applicants must demonstrate substantial experience with MS SQL and web development using a variety of programming languages, such as PHP, .NET, Python and JavaScript. The successful applicant must be capable of identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
This position is based at Royal Perth Hospital.
