About the Organisation and Role 
We’re Well Life Services, a values-driven organisation delivering Allied Health, Youth Residential, Support Coordination, Lifestyle Support, and Out of Home Care services across South East Queensland. We’re seeking Youth Workers to provide direct care and support to young people in residential settings, implement care plans and therapeutic programs, support community access and everyday learning opportunities, promote safety and resilience, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate documentation in line with relevant legislation and standards. 
About the Role 
As a Youth Worker, you’ll play a vital role in: 
- Providing direct care and support to young people in residential settings 
- Implementing care plans and therapeutic programs tailored to individual needs 
- Supporting community access, recreational activities, and everyday learning opportunities 
- Promoting safety, resilience, and positive behavioural modelling 
- Collaborating with families, caseworkers, and multidisciplinary teams 
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to relevant legislation and standards

About You 
You’re someone who: 
- Has experience working with young people with complex behaviours and trauma 
- Demonstrates empathy, patience, and emotional resilience 
- Is confident working independently and collaboratively 
- Communicates effectively and professionally 
- Is passionate about achieving positive outcomes for youth 
- Is adaptable and able to think on your feet in challenging situations 
Requirements 
- Certificate IV or higher in Youth Work, Child & Family Intervention, Community Services, or similar 
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card – Paid) 
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card – Paid) 
- Current QLD Driver’s Licence (Green P accepted with approval) 
- Comprehensive car insurance and registration 
- Current First Aid and CPR certification 
Completion or willingness to complete: 
- Hope and Healing training 
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) 
- Etrainu modules 
- Other relevant learning as required
