Job Summary
This role is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about creating a positive impact on society through their work. As a Safety Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our project personnel and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective safety systems and best practices that align with industry standards.
* Identify, monitor, and report emerging risks to the project team.
* Collaborate with the Safety and Training departments to design and deliver training programs.
* Conduct incident investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Assist in site communications, including Pre-Start and Toolbox talks.
* Regularly review onsite practices against the project risk register and management plans.
* Lead by example by promoting a positive work health and safety culture.
Requirements
* Cert IV or Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
* Post Graduate Degree in Safety or other associated Tertiary degrees i.e. Human Resources, Quality, Environment, or Project Management.
* Safety Lead Auditor Qualification.
* ICAM Investigation Qualification.
* Risk Management Training.
* Experience as a Safety Practitioner in Transmission Lines, Substations, Civil Earthworks, and high-risk environments.
