The Role
You will join a modern 43‐bed Emergency Department seeing approximately 45,000 presentations annually, with a 30–40% admission rate and a diverse case mix including trauma, acute medicine, and paediatrics.
As the major referral centre for Northern Tasmania, you will gain exposure to:
* Major trauma and high‐acuity emergencies
* Complex undifferentiated presentations
* Paediatric Emergency Medicine
* High‐volume acute care
You'll be supported by:
* All major specialties on site
* A fully supported ICU (including ECMO capability)
* 24‐hour cardiac catheterisation services
* Direct consultant supervision from 08:00–00:00, 7 days per week
