Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Credit Analyst to join our team in Chatswood, NSW, in a hybrid role that offers both in-office engagement and some remote work flexibility. The Credit Analyst will evaluate credit risk, conduct thorough financial analyses, develop credit strategies, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders. The individual will also ensure credit applications and lending processes align with company standards and regulatory requirements, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
Qualifications
* Proven ability to interpret financials (PAYG, BAS, bank statements, P&L, balance sheets) and assess affordability and risk
* Excellent client-facing communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to explain options clearly and manage expectations
* High attention to detail with accurate documentation, compliance, and packaging to achieve fast approvals and settlements
* Strong stakeholder management skills, collaborating effectively with clients, lenders, accountants, and internal teams
* Results-driven with strong time management, pipeline control, and the ability to work to deadlines and targets
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (preferred)
* Industry qualifications and compliance (e.g., Cert IV/Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking, MFAA/FBAA membership) highly regarded
* Prior experience in broking, banking, lending, or financial services is strongly preferred
* Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) and English is a must, with the ability to communicate clearly with a diverse client base
