Building Estimator role based in Burleigh Heads (Commercial building and property maintenance)
ABOUT THE ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES but not limited to the following;
- Estimating and tendering for projects from 5K through to million dollar projects.
- Quoting across all trades- plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, landscaping, carpentry etc.
- Required to attend client sites for to assist with tenders
- Operation of Systems; Simpro ,Bluebeam, Autocad and Procore.
- Work independently and with team to produce accurate and well detailed estimates and quotations
- Ability to supply and mark-up drawings clearly for project managers
- Maintain estimating databases and records
- Complete tenders in accordance with project time lines & ensure these time lines align with the overall project schedule
- Communicate with Project Managers and external stakeholders in a skilled and positive manner
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Be proficient in estimating/computer software such as Simpro ,Bluebeam, Autocad and Procore.
- Capability of completing accurate and detailed take offs systematically quantifying all materials and labour required for a project from blueprints and specifications
- Demonstrate attention to detail in daily works
- Minimum 3 years previous estimating experience in Commercial Construction / Shopfitting background
- Able to read, markup and interpret building plans and drawings
- Willingness to undergo a Police Check and obtain a QLD Blue Card
