Our client is a global leader in the Banking sector working cross Europe, US, Asia and Australia. In Australia they are very well respected working with all the leading banking arrangers and non bank Issuers in the Structured Finance and Securitisation sector. Due to increased workloads, along with strong forecasts, a new position has become available. The role
Offered as a permanent position, this role reports to the Director where you will have an opportunity to join the Structured finance division as an analyst. The scope to focus on new inquiries from lenders and asset classes as well as working in a strong team of Financial Analysts. Many who have come from Investment Banking or research analyst backgrounds
A considerable amount of variety exists with this opportunity where you be exposed to the Structured Finance process from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will consist of the following;
To work within the structured finance requirements for the organisations Financial Services clients across Australia
Build models for loan products and Private equity
Liaise with clients on models
Provide full analysis and reporting for investment portfolio
Support team members with other financial models
About you
Our client requires a background in Banking or Financial Analytics. structured finance / securitisation is an advantage but not required as you will learn
As a Structured Finance Analyst or Structured Credit Analyst you must be able to effectively communicate with clients
Our client will look at candidates with either a credit or debt markets background from the banking sector or similar. We will also looking at Australians returning from overseas to Sydney or foreign based candidates who have PR and looking to migrate to Australia with the required skills
Will also look at candidates with an understanding of MIT / Private Equity or Loans market
Need strong MS Excel background and analytical type skills and experience
