We're looking for a skilled and motivated Welder to join our Workshop team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, fabrication expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
You'll work as part of a collaborative maintenance team to ensure our plant and equipment are operating at their best supporting the ongoing success and growth of a leading agribusiness.
Tasks and Responsibilities
· Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of plant and equipment.
· Diagnose and resolve mechanical and fabrication issues to minimise downtime.
· Manufacture, modify, and assemble machine components to technical specifications.
· Perform welding and metal fabrication safely and efficiently.
· Weekend availability and overtime when required.
· Assist with urgent repairs outside normal hours when required.
· Maintain a clean and compliant workshop and adhere to all WHS standards.
What We Are Looking For
· Minimum 5 years' experience or relevant trade qualifications.
· Proven experience in metal fabrication, maintenance and fitting.
· Excellent mathematical and general engineering skills.
· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
· Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong ability to communicate effectively.
· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
· High attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
· Current unrestricted Driver's Licence, Heavy Combination Licence would be desirable.
· Willingness to work away from home when offsite maintenance is required.
· Willingness to work weekend and long hours in busy times.
· Owning your own vehicle and tools would benefit your application.

* This role will be primarily in Coleambally NSW.
