Job Description
As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing daily support to our residents at our aged care home. You will assist with day-to-day activities, ensure their safety and well-being is maintained, and build positive and professional relationships with residents and colleagues.
You will be responsible for assessing care plans and ensuring residents' needs are met, delivering personal care tasks with dignity and respect, and maintaining the facility environment to an appropriate standard.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment;
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
* Able to work well as a team and also independently;
* Willingness to uphold our organisation's mission, vision and values;
* Ability to obtain relevant vaccinations;
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one).
The Role
The successful candidate will have:
* Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect;
* Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner;
* Assess care plans and ensure residents' needs are met;
* Maintain the facility environment to an appropriate standard.
