Overview
We're looking for an experienced retail leader who maintains high standards of themselves and their staff to work in our Canberra Factory Outlet in ACT.
Responsibilities
* Managing, motivating and leading the team to achieve KPI's, sales targets and an exceptional customer experience.
* Take full ownership of the store and its commercial success.
* Analyze relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo.
* Address identified improvement areas, involving the District Manager or other Retail Back Office partners as needed.
* Drive continuous improvements in the store's sales, productivity and profitability.
* Lead service by example, maximizing the amount of time spent selling and leading team members on the sales floor.
* Work with the District Manager to identify and develop select strong performers with potential for growth and to ensure consistent investment in team's capabilities.
* Conducting staff training & coaching to drive KPI performance.
* Effectively managing all retail operations within a fashion store environment.
* Coordinate team members to consistently execute and maintain established Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards.
* Coordinate team members to ensure most efficient inventory processing procedures and a seamless stock-to-floor process.
* Share best practices to drive the overall store team performance.
Qualifications
* The successful candidate will have a commercial mindset and strong retail background with a proven track record of success in a similar retail leadership or supervisory position, consistently leading a team to achieve budgeted sales.
* You will be motivated, energetic, passionate about achievement and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in retail store management in men's/women's apparel or sports footwear would be desirable but not essential.
* You have experience as a leader in coaching and mentoring your team to succeed.
