As a key member of the Country Sales Team, the BDM will proactively identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, foster strong client relationships, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and senior management within Doka Australia.This position is suitable for a professional with project management experience, capable of managing large-scale civil and construction projects.This role requires a strategic, results-driven professional with a deep industry understanding, capable of delivering innovative solutions aligned with the company’s objectives.Build and maintain strong, profitable relationships with clients and decision-makersPrepare and present proposals to meet client requirements and offer solutionsExpand the client portfolio to grow market share in their relevant state or territory within the civil and LSP spaceOversee and support the project lifecycle, from inception to handover, ensuring timely delivery and high standards of qualityMaintain comprehensive knowledge of all Doka products, key customers, and stakeholdersAchieve sales targets set by Sales Management, using excellent presentation and negotiation skills to close dealsPrepare expressions of interest, tender submissions, and marketing materialsManage projects collaboratively with stakeholders, both internal and externalHandle the handover process for successful tendersServe as the first point of contact for clients throughout all project stages, supporting related work including processing, discounting, rental rates, and claimsPromote and cross-sell our range of products and servicesUpdate and maintain customer records and enquiry statuses in our CRM systemTake ownership of responsibilities and collaborate with team members across all project stages to ensure alignment and target achievementQualifications and experience:Formal training in business or equivalent is desirableMinimum of 4 years’ experience in a BDM role within construction or similar sectorsProven sales and customer management experience, ideally in system formworkExperience within the civil and LSP sectors is highly regardedTechnical understanding of the formwork and construction industryTrack record of securing new tender opportunities in non-residential constructionEffective sales techniquesDriven, energetic, and passionate about constructionProblem-solving skills and independent decision-makingSelf-motivated and solution-orientedEthical work practices and compliance adherenceStrong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersEstablished network in the sectorExcellent communication and negotiation skills in EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Office and IT programsValid driver’s licenseIf this sounds like you, apply now or contact Belinda Madani at (emailprotected) for more information.Let’s form the future together.
