Beach Huts Middleton is an award winning Australian Accredited Tourism, family owned business for 20 years. Centrally located between Goolwa & Port Elliot on the south coast of South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula.
We offer a unique holiday experience with 12 individually designed, brightly coloured Beach Huts for short term accommodation. We accommodate for short getaways, romantic, FITs, families, groups & weddings. Our property offers an onsite restaurant, tennis court & beautiful gardens.

We are seeking applicationsfor the position to commence ASAP. This is a casual permanent position offering 2-12 hours per week with a flexible roster. Sundays are mandatory.
At Beach Huts Middleton your responsibilities for the position will include and not limited to:-
* To clean and maintain huts and all other accommodation managed by the business to a high standard.
* Ensure all surfaces are hygienically cleaned.
* Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
* Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
* Responsible for cleaning all parts of the huts where a ladder isn't required, including windows, outdoor furniture, BBQs, decks and courtyard.
* Responsible for keeping equipment in good order and report any issues to management.
* Ensure all lost property is reported to reception and noted.
* Laundry duties and ironing.
* Handling food and beverage provisions.
* Sorting rubbish and recycling.
* Maintain storage facilities in a neat and tidy manner.
* Undertake any other duties as required.
* Responsible for health, welfare and safety of all employees and customers.
* Maintain company work hours and comply with work starting and finishing times.
* Comply with all company policies, procedures rules and regulations.
* Comply with all safety activities and reporting requirements.
* Undertake all activities and responsibilities in an efficient and timely manner.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
This is a hands on role and we need someone who is mature minded, customer focused, warm, engaging, energetic, fun and motivated. Ideally, you'll have a background in housekeeping/cleaning with the following attributes:-
Ability to work under pressure, both individually and as part of a small team
* Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper preferable.
* Report any issues to management where required.
* Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly with staff and guests.
* Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
* Well-presented, customer-oriented, and friendly.
* Eye for detail and presentation.
* Prioritization and time management skills.
* Working quickly without compromising quality.
* Knowledge of English language.
* High school certificate.
* Current Driver's License.
Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
Ability to work a flexible roster including most weekends.
