We are seeking an exceptional Commis Chef to join our Banquets Kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food products that exceed our guests' expectations.
About the Role
The Commis Chef role involves assisting in the preparation of ingredients, following recipes, and ensuring consistency in food presentation for large-scale events. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation at all times.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior chefs to cook and assemble dishes, developing your skills and expertise in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking components for banquets and events.
2. Follow established recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency in food presentation.
3. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 1 year's work experience in a similar position.
* Experience working in luxury international brands is highly regarded.
* A qualification in Commercial Cookery.
* Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
