**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Vice President - Windows & Showers Group, an opportunity has become available for the newly created role of **Group General Manager**.
You will manage, influence, and lead the Architectural Windows business units of 8 operational plants and 170+ associates. You will plan, implement, and control the business strategies and activities, to achieve the people, safety, customer, and performance targets for the group.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Leadership** - Lead the JELD-WEN way, you will develop, implement, and execute the group strategy to deliver the overall business, people and performance targets, through the business unit leadership teams.
- ** People, Culture and Engagement **- Build and execute engagement strategies that make JELD-WEN a place where associates want to work and are contributing to our premier performing culture.
- ** Customer Service **- Continually strengthen customer loyalty and increase sales volumes by providing a quality customer experience and superior product performance
- ** Sales and Marketing** - Manage the sales operations through developing and implementing the business unit's strategic sales plan whilst enhancing the brand through a values-based consultative sales performance culture.
- ** Operations - **Manage the business units using the JELD-WEN JEM operations model so that the operations perform both effectively and efficiently with a constant drive for improved productivity to improve the overall return on investment
- ** Business Development** - Continuously improve the business in line with the JELD-WEN and group strategic and plan, promoting and leverage One JELD-WEN opportunities.
- ** Systems and Controls**:
- safeguard the company's financial and physical assets in compliance with JELD-WEN group policies and procedures.
- ** Personal Development** - continue to grow and develop as a leader through the JELD-WEN Leadership model.
