The Manager Strategic Infrastructure & Assets is a key role in SAPOL's Physical Assets Services Branch for strategic planning, development, management and effective performance of SAPOL's statewide asset portfolio and forward infrastructure strategy.
The role is responsible for providing effective leadership to a high performing team, developing strategic solutions to key infrastructure and asset challenges including portfolio planning, sustainability initiatives, replacement infrastructure / divestment activities, and developing strategic business cases and master planning of sites that align with operational requirements and agency initiatives. The role ensures effective management of SAPOL's built asset portfolio of leased and owned commercial policing facilities and regional employee housing portfolio in line with government policy and legislation with a value for money perspective and ensures robust portfolio asset data sets. The position requires a high level of initiative, management capability, sound judgment, relationship management, ability to work in alignment with strong governance models, Infrastructure SA and DIT requirements, and SAPOL's Services to achieve strategic objectives.
Key outputs include to develop SAPOL's 20-year Strategic Infrastructure Plan, to develop and implement the Strategic Asset Management Framework/Plan for SAPOL, lead master planning activities and business cases for investment funding that align with SAPOL strategies, corporate frameworks, government policy and legislative requirements. The role is key point of contact for Agency asset sustainability and environmental measures across SAPOL.
PASB is comprised of seven units: Capital Projects Unit, Strategic Infrastructure & Assets Unit, Major Projects Unit, Contracts, Impound and Armoury Unit, Strategic Operations Section: Fleet & Stores, Facilities Management Unit and Business Unit.

- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
**Salary**
ASO8 - $121,107 - $125,679 per annum.
