Your Role
As a Support Worker, you'll provide personalised care and support to older individuals, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and connected to their community. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing essential services such as personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, and medication support.
* Helping clients stay active and engaged through social support and transport services.
* Observing and reporting any changes in health or wellbeing to the Coordinator.
* Promoting independence and choice while ensuring a high standard of care.
* Creating meaningful connections with clients and their families.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking kind-hearted, proactive individuals who are passionate about aged care and community services. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Community Services (essential)
* A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (essential)
* Experience working with older people in a home caring setting
* Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on dignity and choice
* The ability to work independently and within a team
