Senior Sales Director Opportunity in Australia

This rare opportunity involves working directly with the CEO (Hong Kong) and EVP Sales (USA) to drive the commercial launch and growth of our company in Australia.
You will take full ownership of identifying, pitching, and closing wholesale fine jewellery partnerships with national retail chains, supported by global teams in product development, pricing, and logistics.
National Business Development & Sales Execution
Lead go-to-market strategy for Australia, opening new B2B accounts across major retail jewellery groups.
Build long-term commercial relationships with buyers at chains including Michael Hill, Prouds, Goldmark, Lovisa, Shiels, and more.
Present samples, negotiate contracts, and drive high-value volume orders.
Manage national travel to maintain key buyer relationships.
Strategic Sales Ownership
Set and execute commercial targets aligned with global growth plans.
Operate as the sole representative in Australia with full autonomy.
Collaborate with back-end support teams in China (pricing), Thailand (production), and Hong Kong (design).
Work with the US sales team to align performance metrics and reporting.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a seasoned jewellery sales professional who knows the Australian retail landscape inside and out.
10+ years in B2B sales within fine jewellery or closely related product categories (gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones).
Strong, proven relationships with key national jewellery retail buyers.
Experience operating autonomously, ideally in a greenfield or market-entry environment.
Deep understanding of volume retail sales cycles and wholesale commercial models.
Highly driven, commercially astute, and relationship-oriented.
Able to travel across Australia as needed to engage with clients.
