We are looking for casual Assistants based at our South Brisbane Campus. Please note this is an expression of interest.The positions will work to a rotating roster across 7 days of the week, with shifts rostered to meet the operational requirements of the department.Perform tasks as scheduled in various areas of the hospital and provide support within the Guest Service team to ensure a safe, efficient cleaning and guest service to Mater Patients.Your duties will include but are not limited to:Functions as part of a team that ensures delivery of guest service activities to Mater Health Services is completed within required time frames and at the highest standard.Understand and work towards achieving all guest service related key performance indicators across all Mater facilities.Strive to maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanor at all times while on duty to support our patients.Adhere to all policies, procedures, guidelines, and work instructions relevant to guest services.Adhere to strict cleaning guidelines at all times.Adhere to all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines and report any health and safety risks (including near misses) and equipment failures in a timely manner to your Supervisor.Complete 3 stage Deprox clean using appropriate Deprox machinery in a safe manner in line with guest services guidelines.Respect guests' rights and the confidentiality of all matters relating to guests, patients, their families, and other staff.Identify and log maintenance items as required.Mater is Queensland's largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to nearly 700,000 patients each year across 11 (soon to be 12) hospitals.
