About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Rail HSQE & Network Access Manager to provide strategic leadership across Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) and Rail Corridor Access.
This senior role is critical to ensuring AMO meets all statutory, regulatory and rail safety obligations while embedding a strong, proactive HSQE culture across the business. Acting as a trusted advisor and influencer, you will work closely with leaders, operational teams, regulators and external stakeholders to support the safe, compliant and high-quality delivery of maintenance activities across the Adelaide light rail network.
What You'll Be Accountable For
* Setting and leading AMO's HSQE strategy to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality rail operations
* Maintaining compliance with all rail safety, statutory, ISO and ONRSR obligations
* Managing HSQE risk, audits, inspections and incident investigations, ensuring risks are controlled SFAIRP
* Governing Network Access and Permit to Work (PTW) processes across operational and project activities
* Leading the Management of Change (MoC) process to ensure changes are risk-assessed and controlled
* Owning and continuously improving the Integrated Management System (IMS) and HSQE documentation
* Embedding a strong safety culture through training, consultation and effective communication
* Monitoring HSQE performance, maintaining corporate risk registers and reporting to senior leadership and the Board
* Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, operational teams, regulators and contractors
About You
* Minimum 3 years' experience in WHS or HSQE leadership roles
* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety and Lead Auditor qualification
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
* Proven experience leading HSQE in a safety-critical or regulated environment
* Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical and reporting capability
* Rail, transport or high-risk construction experience highly regarded
