Overview
A well-established Australian insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to manage an end-to-end portfolio across Motor, Property, Liability, Marine and Travel claims. Reporting to the Claims Director, you will act as a trusted advocate for clients, delivering timely, accurate and commercially sound outcomes while working closely with brokers, insurers and key stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities
* Manage an end-to-end portfolio of multi-class claims (motor, property, liability, marine and travel)
* Assess policy coverage, liability, causation and quantum
* Liaise with clients, brokers, insurers, assessors and legal representatives
* Negotiate settlements and manage escalations
* Investigate complex and potentially fraudulent claims
* Maintain accurate claim files and reporting
* Manage complaints in line with RG 271
We are looking for someone with
* 3+ years' of broker claims experience
* Exposure to one or more of Motor, Property, Liability, Marine or Travel
* Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Sound understanding of policy wordings and claims processes
* High attention to detail with strong communication skills
* Genuine passion for customer service
